Connecting to Wi-Fi was quick and video quality is good and I was pleasantly surprised how well the night vision quality is. I choose not use an SD card (which needs to be purchased separately) and opted for the Cloud subscription. They offer an inexpensive cloud subscription with a lot of plans (I choose 1 month because not sure I needed more for my purposes).
This comes with an adapter to plug it into a wall, but it is a bit top heavy so it doesn’t stay in the outlet very well; but I used to while I was setting up and experimenting, because I was ultimately going to install it in an attic.
The tilt/pan/zoom works ok – I had some issues understanding it, but that could be me. I found using the preset feature great for my use (checking traps in the attic that could not all be included in one motion detection video).
I had some issues with the instructions being complete and well written, but I figured everything I needed without too much hassle.
This was a great product for my purposes and allowed me to experiment with security cameras for the first time without spending a lot of time and money.
